Guided Notes
Load: Files & Databases
Writing cleaned data to CSV, JSON, and SQLite, using multiple tables, and verifying the load.
Choosing where data lands
Slide 1 / 5Load is the final stage: writing the transformed data somewhere others can use it. The right destination depends on who reads it:
• CSV — universal and human-readable; good for sharing and spreadsheets. • JSON — natural for web apps and APIs. • A SQL database — for querying, joining, and many concurrent users. • Columnar formats (Parquet) and data warehouses — for large-scale analytics.
In this course, the merged World Bank table is loaded in all three common formats.
