Forms & Interactive Elements
Buttons, text inputs, checkboxes, radio buttons, drop-downs, labels, and form submission.
Interactive elements
Slide 1 / 5Most of HTML displays content; interactive elements let visitors act:
• <button> — something to click. • <input> — a single-line field, checkbox, radio button, and more. • <select> — a drop-down list. • <textarea> — multi-line text.
On their own they don't send anything anywhere. Wrap them in a <form> to submit data, or connect them to JavaScript to react instantly — like the counter button in Chapter 1.
